Oh, all right. Here's a few leetle titbits for you.
My name: Aslan backwards. This is on account of my (now sadly removed) somewhat large mane of hair, not because I have delusions of deification. There was a lot of hair - I've only had my hair cut once since 1992, and that was for our wedding in '99 - and it went fluffy when I shook it about. It's now considerably shorter - I don't think I had it this short when I was playing "Eugene" in my school production of Grease - and I'm trying to come to terms with having a neck, and a floppy curl that refuses to stay put.
If you're on my friends list and wondering why because i never comment or talk to you, that's because i'm shy and i just think you're neat. I read everything that everyone on my FL writes, even if I'm a bit reticent. I only really comment if I have something to say, but I do read everything.
I am shy, no matter how I might come across. Feel free to email or IM me (for any reason), because although I'll (almost) always reply, I rarely initiate conversations because of my wanting to hide behind the sofa. You know, like if a cyberman comes on the telly when you're 8 years old. (May '06: CYBERMEN ARE COMING BACK ON TELLY! I'm moving the sofa away from the wall in anticipation.)

I'll occasionally post pictures taken with my phone (a Handspring Treo 600 [gosh, I've not updated this for a while] S/E K750i) here, but until there's an upload-and-post client for fotobilder any pics taken with it will normally go to my moblog.
