If you've ever used WriteToThem, PledgeBank, been involved in mySociety or No2ID in any way you'll have come across Chris' work. The man was incredibly good at collating data and turning it into useful information or a handy tool, his way of finding solutions to problems a breath of air. I don't think I ever met him, although I knew of his stuff from the early No2ID days, but he was one of the chaps I would have bought a beer for as soon as someone said "oh, have you met Chris?" to me.
